These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by
Flavour by Florence ("we", "our", or "us") in
the context of private dining experiences, including but not limited to
personal chef services, catered events, and tasting menus.
You must be 18 years or older to book our services.
By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read
them carefully.
1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings must be confirmed in writing (via email or booking form).
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking.
Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date.
2. Menu Selection
We offer customised menus tailored to your preferences, dietary
requirements, and event style.
Final menu selections must be confirmed no later than
48 hours before the event.
Changes after this deadline may not be possible and could incur additional
charges.
3. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary
restrictions at the time of booking.
While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that food
will be free from all allergens.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Client cancellations:
More than 14 days before the event: deposit
retained, no further charges.
Less than 14 days 50% of
total fee may be charged.
Less than 48 hours full fee is payable.
Provider cancellations:
If we must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will
receive a full refund of any amounts paid.
We will do our best to help you find an alternative provider.
5. Event Timing and Access
We typically require access to the venue
4 hours before service begins.
You must ensure access to appropriate kitchen facilities, running water,
and electricity unless agreed otherwise.
6. Damages and Liability
We are fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity.
We are not responsible for damage to your property unless caused by our
negligence.
Clients are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
7. Photography and Promotion
We may take photographs of food or the setup during your event for
promotional purposes.
Please notify us in writing if you do not wish your event to be
photographed.
8. Pricing & Service Charges
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
A discretionary service charge of may be
added to your invoice.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due
to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, power
outages, government restrictions).
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of England and Wales.
